Mountain View Road

This short, scenic trail winds through overgrown vegetation with direct views toward Moore Reservoir and the surrounding mountain ranges. The narrow dirt route begins with 6–8-inch ruts, increasing to 10–14 inches farther in, with sections putting you up to 10° off-camber. Wet or rainy conditions can make the trail extremely difficult to navigate. At 0.6 miles, there is a level campsite for up to two vehicles with excellent mountain views. The trail ends at 0.7 miles due to a restoration area, so do not continue beyond the closure.
