Lucky

Lucky is a newer trail in the Tenderfoot Mountain Trail System. It starts at the intersection with Upper Wide Open and rides north to Roost. It's a very fast trail, being pretty wide through the pine trees, with light curves over smooth terrain. There are a couple of embedded rocks or roots here and there, but it's mostly free of rock. It has lots of gradual wide hairpin turns. It goes through a bunch of aspens that are really pretty in the fall when the leaves are changing. The entirety of the trail is climbing, as it gains 600 feet over 1.3 miles. It's pretty gradual the whole way, with the beginning and the ending being slightly steeper. This trail is open 6/21 - 10/9 for motorized use.
