Trail Overview
Long Road is a relatively easy dirt road that runs along the west side of the Tarry Mountains and wilderness area. There are numerous spots for dispersed camping that could accommodate trailers. After the Hall-Reese Road spit, the road begins to enter the mountains and becomes increasingly steep and rutted. The trail is closed from January 1 to June 15th for wildlife protection.
