Goose Chase Loop Road (FS 243.1A) is a dirt and gravel road located within the Pike National Forest outside the town of Lake George, Colorado. The trail is a looped passage that is accessible via County Road 98, and then via Sledge Hammer Road (FS 243). The trail involves simple rocky sections, whoops, tight trees, and minor ruts. It is a beautiful trail that has aspen groves and views of the mountain range. No geese were found to be chased.
