Trail Overview

This trail begins with 5–6-inch ruts before quickly reaching 8–12-inch ruts and mud holes. It winds through dense aspen forest with scenic views throughout. At 0.4 miles, you reach the OHV Trail 2290 trailhead. Around 1.5 miles, the trail becomes very narrow with no room for passing and significant risk of pinstriping. By 1.8 miles, a washout reaches 2–3 feet deep with up to 10-degree off-camber sections, while ruts reach 18–22 inches deep. Not van or camper friendly. A chainsaw or handsaw is highly recommended due to the amount of surrounding trees.
