The road trends downhill, traveling Westward, leading drivers through the forest before opening up to expansive views at the end, where the scenery rewards the effort with sweeping mountain vistas.

History

Historically, Deadman Road connects closely with the Deadman Lookout area in the Roosevelt National Forest, a region long used for both recreation and forest management.
