Trail Overview
Chris Mountain Road is a moderately challenging, fun trail that starts from the south end of the trail at Snow Ranch Road (FR628). The trail has multiple areas of rocky terrain that can be challenging for a beginning rider on an ATV or motorcycle, as it can really bounce you around. The beginning of the trail from the south is a dirt road and has multiple "whoops" that are fun and they are spread apart enough to not be a major hazard. There are also multiple areas of off-camber from the road being washed out. This part of the trail can also hold water after a heavy rain as it has multiple low areas and dips. As you climb up to the loop you will begin to run into more and more rocky areas. When you begin the loop be careful of large roots that are sticking up from the ground as there are multiple blind turns on the trail and the roots can surprise you.
