Trail Overview

Buddy Bear is one of the easiest trails in Hartman Rocks Recreation Area. It makes a loop off of McCabe to Cottonwood Grove Road. It mostly goes through flat land covered in sagebrush, and gradually goes up and over the rolling hills. It goes through a few aspen trees, which are really pretty in the fall. This is a faster and easier trail, so it has lots of whoops, and probably gets a lot of traffic. It's very straight and flat, with a few gradual curves, and hardly any rocks. It's a great trail for a beginner rider. There's several other easy trails on this west side of the recreation area that could be combined with Buddy Bear for an easy ride for beginners.
