This 1-mile desert trail mostly goes through a sandy wash that is a mix of red dirt and sand with loose rock mixed in. There are a couple of easier rock slab obstacles throughout the wash, but they are more ramped, so they are easier. It goes up and out of the wash a couple of times on steep hills that go immediately back down into the wash. This is one of the easier trails in the area because it doesn't have as many big rock obstacles. There are a couple of narrower spots in the wash like rock pinch points, and loose small logs and sticks scattered throughout the wash. There are more trees and bushes in the wash than on the mesas, so this trail gets a little bit more shade than the rest of the trails in the area that ride on the tops of the mesas.
