Trail Overview

Beaver is a short ATV trail in the Rampart Range Recreation Area that starts on the west end at a large dirt parking lot off Rampart Range Road. From west to east, it's a steady downhill the whole way, dropping 500 feet in elevation over 1.1 miles. Going east to west it would be a bit of a climb, but it's very wide with no whoops, so it's easy. It has lots of little curves on a pea-gravel and dirt surface. There are some small ruts to watch out for, but it's mostly smooth. The trail ends at the intersection with Garber Trail (#686).
