Trail Overview

Cabin Ridge is a 6.3-mile-long ATV trail through Rampart Range that goes from Rampart Range Road to connect to the Noddles ATV Trail. It's very similar to many of the surrounding two-tracks in this trail system, but this one is slightly harder because it has some tighter sections, some small rocks here and there, and one section of slab rock to go over. It goes through some cool rock features like big granite boulders on each side of the trail like tall rock walls. Easy sections of the trail are wide through the pine trees with some small whoops, but mostly flat with some curves. This one is less troughed than some of the other ATV trails. It climbs some small hills but mostly is a steady decline of 1,300 feet in elevation over the 6 miles going south to north. You get some really nice views along the edge of the mountainside next to giant rock outcroppings. The northern half has some tighter sections, lots of tight curves, and one section of rock slab that is like a ramp that makes it a little bit harder.
