Trail Overview
Flatrock is a 3.8-mile ATV trail in Rampart Range that connects Cabin Ridge ATV Trail to Barr ATV Trail. Starting at the intersection with Cabin Ridge, it steadily goes downhill for 1.5 miles with big sweeping corners. The downhill is very smooth with no rocks, and it's flowy and a bit shelfy. The second half climbs back up. There are a couple of rockier spots where you have to go over a couple of steep embedded boulders or between big boulders, but they are moderate difficulty. There are also some troughs on this trail, but there has been some trail maintenance to add cement pavers to the steep spots to help with traction and avoid erosion.
