Trail Overview

The northern segment of Long Hollow ATV Trail is 8 miles long all the way to Rampart Range Road. This segment of #650 is a bit harder than the southern portion due to the addition of several intermediate rock obstacles that could be hard for an ATV. It has several climbs and descents, and lots of big sweeping banked corners. It has tighter spots through a ravine, some ruts, a very small creek crossing, and big hairpin turns. The upper half of the trail gets even more interesting when going through big rock granite boulders, rock pinches, and intermittent embedded rocks in the trail. There is a harder spot with big boulders embedded in the trail, but it has a bypass around the obstacle. There is also a rocky hairpin turn with boulders, and this one does not have a bypass.
