Early morning scouting for campsites. Trail was open and dry with less than 5 other vehicles seen. Lots of offshoots from the main trail for more ambitious folks. Ends at the lake on the reservation.

Open. A bit rough in some spots but nothing a high clearance 2nd or stock 4x4 can’t do. First day campground was open on the lake.

Gate closed past the upper parking area. Lots on SxS in the area but difficult access for the ADV bike.

Most of the road was dry, with some mud puddles and water runoff... some ruts from the water as well - it looks like the areas with burn scars are pretty damaged and all the rain didn't help. I drove the whole way around the reservoir on Bartlett Springs road, and exited by Clearlake.. total of 58 miles. the road to the lake is closed, but otherwise, almost everything else was accessible except for a couple areas that are blocked off with large boulders due to water damage. A nice drive, overall. I also went to Pinnacle Rock (a short detour on the exit route)

Went out on a beautiful day after crazy rain and the gate towards the lake reservoir was closed as well with any dirt bike paths.

Easy trail and frequented by dirt bikes and side-by-sides. The end of the trail leading to the lake is closed/gated at the moment. Beautiful views and worth a trip.

Trail has been packed down quite a bit. Good for beginner adventure bike riding.

Road was well maintained. There was some AT&T cell service at the higher elevations on the road, but none at the reservoir. I was out there on a week day, nobody else was really out there. There was a grader grading some fresh gravel on a section of the road. Looks a bunch of trails and places to ride in the area that are managed BLM. The campgrounds and picnic areas have spigots, but there was no fresh water. The sinks in the bathroom stated the water was not potable and not to drink. Bring your own fluids to drink. Bathrooms were clean at the campground by the reservoir. Will definitely plan a camping trip to this area.
