Difficulty
Difficult: Steep rock slabs and large boulders. Two obstacles can cause extreme tipping. Lockers, high ground clearance and excellent articulation are needed. Tight, scratchy brush. Not for stock vehicles. Watch for snakes and poison oak. Very hot in summer.
History
In 2006, most of Corral Canyon was destroyed by the Horse Fire. Today the area is fully open thanks to the efforts of volunteers working with fire rehabilitation funds.
