Trail Overview
This wide, fine-dirt trail climbs up and over the hills with expansive views of the surrounding mountains, lake, and valley. Ruts remain under 2 inches deep, with only minor rock gardens and plenty of room for vehicles to pass. Camping is plentiful and scenic throughout. Around 0.2 miles, a level hillside campsite accommodates up to four vehicles, while sites around 0.4 and 0.8 miles are large enough for fifth wheels, campers, trailers, or larger groups. The route finishes at a scenic cliffside campsite overlooking the surrounding mountains.
Difficulty
This trail is rated Level 2 because of the minor rock gardens and soft, fine-dirt terrain. There are no significant obstacles, although the surface can become more difficult when wet.
