Trail Overview

Old Station House (FS 1S91) is a 2.5-mile point-to-point trail climbing 300 feet from start to finish. The trail begins at Mono Craters (FS 1S07) and ends at 120 Cutoff FS 1S06. It is made of sand and pumice lined with sagebrush and winds through part of a new-growth pine forest planted for logging. Around mile 1.7, the trail opens into a meadow dotted with sparse pine trees. The trail also passes a few areas suitable for dispersed camping. Seasonal fire restrictions apply. The combination of forest, meadow, and views of the surrounding landscape makes this trail a scenic drive for off-road enthusiasts.
