Trail Overview
This trail is part of the old Green Creek Road and serves as a short but fun off-road challenge, perfect for those new to four-wheeling. The route climbs almost 200 feet in just under a mile, running along Green Creek throughout the journey. Starting from Dunderberg Mill Road, it quickly drops into a valley along a narrow shelf road, requiring caution, then slowly climbs 300 feet back up to connect with the new Green Creek Trail. It is a short but great beginner challenge for a new off-roader.
Difficulty
This trail features a sandy dirt road with lots of rocks ranging from baseball up to boulder size, nothing over 18 inches, off-camber sections, and rock gardens. 4x4 high clearance is highly recommended, and it's described as a single vehicle wide trail with challenging terrain.
History
An easier entrance trail from Dunderberg Mill Road was created to the current Green Creek Road leaving this old section for people looking for a little challenge.
