Trail Overview

Mesquite Canyon Road North meanders through the El Paso Mountains Wilderness on hard pack sand and gravel mixed with embedded and loose rocks up to basketball size. The route winds up and down hills, at times running along shelf roads flanked by desert brush and grasses, with expansive views that make the trip worthwhile.
