Hells Half Acre Road - FS 5N95

This 10.2-mile trail connects you from one mountain range to another. This trail drops down nearly 2000 feet into a canyon. You will cross over a bridge with a river running under it and then climb back up another 1800 feet on the adjacent mountain. The trail starts as gravel and soon turns to dirt. There are some small ruts along this trail but nothing too big. There is a sign indicating that 4WD vehicles are recommended; however, we were able to complete the trail in 2WD as there were no major obstacles. There are some dispersed camping spots along the trail as well as spurs that lead to dispersed camping.
