Trail Overview

This 1.6-mile out-and-back trail starts on Beardsley Lake Reservoir Road, 1 mile from Highway 108, climbing almost 250 feet. The hard-packed dirt surface is one vehicle wide, cutting through a pine forest lined with lots of different kinds of brush. The trail is popular for hunters in the fall. A lot of the brush is overgrown but is tagged to be trimmed. At mile 1.0, after making a 180-degree turn, the branches are even more overgrown but again marked to be trimmed. The trail ends a quarter mile early due to downed trees blocking passage.

Difficulty

Overgrown brush throughout, tagged to be trimmed. After the 180-degree turn at mile 1.0, branches become more overgrown. After the turn, there are some boulders under 12 inches to go over, some off-camber sections, and ruts that raise the difficulty. Trail ends early due to downed trees.
