Trail Overview

Giant Gap (FS 26-006) is a beautiful 2.5-mile-long trail that starts and ends along Elliot Ranch Road (FS 26). It is part of the Foresthill OHV area and can be run in either direction. The trail is manageable in 2WD with all-terrain tires when dry. Cell service is intermittent along the trail, and usually, there is only enough signal for text messages or low-quality voice calls.

Difficulty

The majority of the trail is one vehicle wide, with limited places to pass. There are some ruts, shallow washes, and slick roots spread throughout.
