Trail Overview
Serving as a highly convenient and brief connector route, FS 4S05 seamlessly links the end of trail 4S116 directly to 4S38, which is also known as the beautiful Bishop Tuff Scenic Loop. Spanning just 0.7 miles in total length, this quick track takes you through open terrain with lightly scenic, peaceful surroundings. As you cruise along the route, the landscape features scattered, towering pine trees and dense patches of low-lying, green sagebrush neatly framing the edges of the two-track road. Looking ahead, you are treated to gorgeous, distant mountain peaks rising up against a wide, open sky.
