Trail Overview
This narrow, fine-dirt trail has posted Forest Service signage requiring 4WD or AWD. The route immediately begins weaving between numerous fallen trees, with tight standing trees and overgrown vegetation throughout. Around 0.2 miles, a downed tree reduces overhead clearance to approximately 7.5 feet when hugging the right side. Near 0.6 miles, the trail becomes significantly narrower and more overgrown, making pinstriping difficult to avoid even for narrow vehicles. The route travels through dense forest with fallen trees creating increasingly tight passages as you continue. Eventually, dozens of downed trees overlap across the route and completely block further travel. The fine-dirt surface can also become considerably more difficult when wet.
Difficulty
This trail is rated Level 3 because of the extremely tight fallen-tree sections, 7.5-foot overhead clearance, heavy overgrowth, and narrow terrain. 4WD or AWD is required by posted signage, and the route is currently impassable farther along due to numerous downed trees.
