This short, well-maintained gravel road leads to a beautiful fishing access area with ample parking, two picnic tables, and a restroom. The spot offers lovely views across the lake, including a small island, making it a great place to stop, enjoy a meal, or spend some time fishing. There are also several pullouts along the way where you can park and have a picnic while taking in the surroundings. The main picnic area is for day use only, so overnight camping isn’t permitted there. The road is easy to drive and provides convenient access to the water without requiring a long journey. If you’re exploring the area, there’s another fishing access point farther down the road, giving you an additional option if you want to try a different spot along the lake. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid California ATV Operating Permit sticker.
