Trail Overview

Foresthill Road is a well-maintained, graded dirt road that follows a ridge through pine trees with spectacular views of the Sierras. It connects Robinson Flat with the Soda Springs area. Along the way are multiple areas to pull off and get views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains and Sierra Buttes to the North. Most of the trail is shaded and makes for a good trip in the Summer. Depending on the time of year, the Trail can be completed by two-wheel drive cars, but ideal vehicles are SUVs and high-clearance vehicles. OHV's are not allowed.
