Trail Overview
This short and scenic trail winds through an expansive open meadow filled with sagebrush, offering wide-open views and a peaceful atmosphere. The surface is primarily packed dirt, making for a relatively smooth ride, though drivers should be aware of a small rock garden located mid-trail that adds a bit of fun technical challenge. As the trail progresses, it transitions into a narrow stretch through a small Aspen forest, which bursts with color during the fall. The trail is one vehicle wide in most areas and is well-suited for high-clearance vehicles, though it remains accessible for most off-road rigs with moderate experience.
Difficulty
This is an easy route with mostly smooth dirt surfaces. The rock garden in the center presents minor obstacles that may require careful tire placement. The narrow Aspen section could be tight for wider vehicles, especially when the foliage is thick. 4WD is not required, but would be helpful in wet conditions.
