Trail Overview
One of the main trails through Dove Springs OHV open riding area, this fine dusty sand route features lots of whoops and washboards, creating constant suspension action. High bank turns offer fun features for those wanting to add excitement to the traverse. The trail slowly makes its way to the edge of the riding area, serving as an arterial route through the OHV zone. Fine dusty conditions mean visibility issues when following traffic.
Difficulty
Fine dusty sand requires momentum management with dust clouds reducing visibility significantly as a main trail with heavy traffic. Those lots of whoops and washboards create a punishing suspension workout over distance. The high bank turns add fun technical features that can be challenging at speed. Being one of the main trails means a well-defined route, but also heavy traffic and maximum dust. Four wheel drive and airing down handle the fine sand, while good suspension manages the relentless whoops and washboards.
