Deadman Pass

Over all very easy trail with awesome views of mammoth and devils post pile at the top. A few spots are rocky and narrow at the beginning. Definitely worth the trip.

Definitely a fun trail, very tight in spots and the ruts at the roots are getting deeper each year. Unfortunately someone cut a trail around it but it is very narrow (unless you’re in a civic I don’t know how you’d fit). Some good spots to test articulation and your 4x4. Would recommend airing down just because there are some very sharp rocks on this trail!

Overall easy trail with some rocks, but there is one section over a tree root that may be difficult for lower clearance vehicles. Full-size vehicles at risk of pin stripes when pass through some trees at the beginning. Beautiful scenery and incredible views from the top. This is a great trip with the family. We saw a Subaru, a huge F150, some motorcycles and a hiker on our way back. There a is YT video by Larry Life Dad that covers the whole trip. I am a newbie in an Armada PRO-4X. I debated airing down because of the rocks, but I did not.

Great views, some rutted spots. Lots of flowers in bloom.
