Cory Peak - FS 41N10 winds through a tall pine and fir forest with peaceful, sun-dappled clearings. The adventure starts as a wide, well-travelled logging road until reaching the junction with China Mountain - FS 41N03. From there, the path gradually climbs up the mountain slope while narrowing down into a cozy two-track trail. Along the way, the surface transitions between smooth, soft dirt stretches and sections of loose, chunky gravel nestled among the pine needles. As the route levels out, you will discover lovely dispersed camping spots sheltered under shady pine trees, along with a pleasant creek area surrounded by colorful wildflowers. The main road comes to an end at a broad, square dirt clearing that provides plenty of room to park and turn around. This route is a mostly smooth forest service road rated a 2, alternating between dirt and loose gravel, making it an easy and relaxing drive.
