Trail Overview

BLM EP458 features lots of creosote brush and grasses, a small forest of Joshua trees, and seasonal blooming wildflowers and cacti. The trail surface is mostly loose sand. Along the route, you can enjoy nice views of the Eastern Sierra Mountains as well as the Red Rock Canyon State Park. Drivers should expect to encounter a lot of whoops due to heavy SxS use and some shallow drops into washes, all under 12 inches.
