Trail Overview

The Badger Trail is a short out-and-back trail located in the Hungry Valley SVRA. It starts at GPS coordinate N34.79207° W118.87997° and can be accessed from the Stipa Trail on the North. It provides access to the Power Line Road that traverses through the SVRA. You can stage directly to the right of the SVRA entrance in a large parking area with restroom access. The trail itself is a double-wide hard-pack surface that winds through open meadows. It terminates at the intersection of Power Line Road at GPS coordinate N34.78608° W118.89143°.

Difficulty

The trail has a hard pack surface and is wide enough for a full-size vehicle, but would require one vehicle to move off the trail for the other to pass in most sections. It does have a drop-off ledge that alternates between the South and North sides of the trail, but it is not a steep drop-off.
