Trail Overview
This short ATV trail is a wide, silty path lined with scrub oak, in a dry forest terrain in the Sierra National Forest north of Oakhurst, California. The north end of the trail climbs up steeply from its intersection with 21E250. This is the steepest part of the trail, as it continues with a gradual grade for the rest of the half-mile route. It curves underneath tall black oak trees and ponderosa pine, with some shady spots, but mostly with lots of sun exposure. There are some big brake bumps, dips, shallow ruts, and a few tight curves, but the trail generally stays very easy and ideal for riders of all skill levels. It’s a comfortable width the entire way for ATV riders, with good visibility for oncoming traffic. This area gets really hot in the summer and late fall, and the trail will likely be very dusty.
Difficulty
This is an easy trail as it only has one steep climb in the beginning on the north end, then continues as gradual and obstacle-free. It’s mostly silty dirt with ruts, but no rocks.
