Trail Overview

This is a moderately easy ATV trail that climbs up from FS Road 6S041B, gaining almost 500 feet over .8 miles, ending on ATV Trail 21E227A. It is a much easier option than the parallel trail 21E247, which is deeply rutted with rock obstacles. 21E236 does have some steep spots and a bit of rutting, but it is much less rocky and rutted comparatively. It’s a decently wide ATV trail, climbing straight up between tall oak trees. Some sections are smooth, and others are troughed. ATVs can easily straddle the troughs, but dirt bikers will have to choose between riding the gut of the trough versus staying on the high points.

Difficulty

This is a moderate trail due to frequent rutting. There aren’t any major rock ledges that would make this trail overly difficult, but the conditions of the ruts can change over time.
