K8

K8 is a 3-Diamond, two-way trail located on the 400-Side of Hot Springs Off-Road Park. It features a steep climb with small loose rock, offering a moderate challenge that requires careful driving—especially after wet weather. Trail conditions on K8 change seasonally due to water runoff, which can alter traction and surface stability. The route is surrounded by tall oak trees and is heavily shaded, providing a cool, wooded climb through some of the Park’s denser forest. A Park Day-Use Trail Pass is required to access this system of trails. Cell service is spotty in places, and trail conditions can change quickly, especially during rainy or winter months.
