Trail Overview
K7 is a 3-Diamond, one-way connector trail on the 400-Side of Hot Springs Off-Road Park. It links H5 to K5, making it a convenient route for navigating the upper section of the Park's network. The trail is wooded and shaded, with a surface of loose gravel. While it’s straight across in layout, at the time of mapping, it currently holds a 3-Diamond rating due to its narrow width and surface conditions. With future dirt work planned to widen the trail, K7 is expected to be downgraded to a 2-Diamond rating once improvements are complete. At just 0.1 miles long, it’s a quick connector, but one that adds value for drivers planning looped runs across multiple trail segments. A Park Day-Use Trail Pass is required to access this system of trails. Cell service is spotty in places, and trail conditions can change quickly, especially after rain or during winter months.
Difficulty
Uneven, rutted dirt trail with loose rocks, sand, erosion, and washes. Potential water crossings up to 18 inches deep, mud holes, and obstacles up to 2 feet, including ledges and short, steep grades.
