Trail Overview
This 4.5-mile ATV route starts at the Schoolhouse Hollow off of Brock 42. It's a windy ATV path through the trees, and after half a mile, it connects to Charleston Road for a moment at the Zing Trailhead. Continuing from there, the trail has been rerouted to loop around west before heading south. There's a small stream crossing and rocky uphill right away, then it continues as a wide, easy two-track through scenic forest with log and stick debris in the trail. There's potential for mud puddles in the spring, shallow ruts, and more rocky stream crossings, but it remains overall easy. Some of the more technical aspects are a couple of rocky spots with loose flat pieces of rock in the trail, and small climbs/descents. There is a bridge crossing over the creek that is just wide enough for a 50" vehicle. It keeps meandering all the way south to near the Brock Lake staging area.
Difficulty
This is an easy ATV trail, although it does have a few technical aspects such as rocky climbs, logs, and ruts.
