Trail Overview
This trail is an out-and-back trail. It ends at a turnaround with several older trails going in multiple directions. The trail is very narrow in spots. No place on the trail is wider than one vehicle. The trail starts as gravel but quickly changes to rock. Once you have completed the first elevation climb, the trail changes to dirt. There are several mud holes and washes in the dirt areas, with some of the holes being large. In some areas, the road is very narrow (less than 60”), and you can expect pin striping on both sides of your vehicle. There is a low water crossing, but it was dried up; at each end were large potholes that had been filled with rocks. The trail passes through a hardwood bottom that has loose sand on the trail. The mixture of terrain creates a tricky riding area. The trail is well used and fairly solid but could deteriorate with heavy rains, increasing the difficulty of the trail.
