As the trail progresses, it opens up into a broader, well-maintained gravel road, providing easier driving conditions despite the presence of rocky patches and potholes. The picturesque scenery continues, passing through private land and rural homesteads before eventually joining a paved road that leads to a state park camping area. A few dispersed campsites might be available, though amenities such as trash disposal and water are not provided. Cell reception is reliable throughout.
