Wildlife Water Run

This fun out-and-back route heads from the main Arizona Peace Trail into the wilderness, ending at the Yuma Naval Range Boundary. Be aware there is no trespassing into this active bombing range, and the area could have an unexploded ordinance. The trail's main feature is a large complex wilderness water collection system. It's an amazing place to view the wildlife, but please observe this intricate structure from a distance, and you may be lucky enough to catch a herd of deer refreshing themselves at it. One great camping spot along the way has a nice, established large fire ring and room for several rigs with loads of flat space. Two bars of fake Verizon LTE in the area seem to have no data access.
