Trail Overview
Tri-Metals Mine is a very short trail just over a quarter mile long. This guided trail takes you to the old mine site, which can be easily missed from other trails in the area. The trail is fairly easy, with a dirt surface and small scattered loose rocks. You can drive up to the edge of the tailings pile, which is fairly level. This area serves as a great place to get out and explore the old mine and its remnants. Use caution, as there is a filled-in mine shaft near the trail and tailings pile. Overall, this is a fun side trail that offers an opportunity to explore an old mine outside your rig. Please be cautious while exploring, as two filled-in mine shafts are present.
