Trail Overview

This is another great out-and-back trail from the Thistle Hollow Road to Thistle Well Tank. It meets up with a closed road on the west side by Thistle Well Tank. The drive back heading East is well worth the trip out and back with spectacular views to the North overlooking the Snowflake-Taylor area. There are awesome views to the southeast of the mountains - you'll be able to see Porter Mountain clearly and many of the Blue Range behind it. The road is slightly rocky at times and has some uneven terrain but not a hard trail to run.

Difficulty

This trail consists of dirt with some rocks and uneven terrain. The trail can get muddy after rain or snow but is usually dry and easy to traverse. The road is a narrow one-vehicle-width road.
