Trail Overview

Sunnyside Canyon is a narrow, single-track dirt road with numerous spurs and offshoots that invite exploration. The trail is unmaintained and rocky, stretching long and flat with certain sections that require slow, careful navigation due to rough terrain. Following the boundary of a fenced area, the route winds through open grasslands, where strong winds are common, and the risk of fire is high, especially from sparks. Despite the rugged conditions, the trail offers breathtaking panoramic views, making it a rewarding journey for those seeking solitude and scenic landscapes. The trail may offer a few basic dispersed campsites but lacks amenities such as trash disposal and water supply, and there is limited cell service.
