Trail Overview
The Skinner Combine Trail is a beautiful rock and dirt trail that makes its way through one of the most beautiful sections of the Kaibab National Forest. Populated by wild horses, elk, and towering Ponderosa Pine trees, this trail is easy and peaceful. The Eastern Section becomes rockier and narrower, with sporadic mud ruts and wash crossings, but have no fear, as there are no obstacles over 12" on this trail. A popular area with hunters, there are campsites scattered along the trail, some with areas for trailers as large as 5th wheels, and most with primitive rock fire rings.
