Trail Overview

Trail Sa1059 begins off Sa1067 and runs north to south along a fairly primitive route. The trail is overgrown in sections, with a few larger gravel rocks, but remains easy to navigate overall. Running south offers scenic views of Mount Graham. Expect pinstripes along the sides and possible light belly contact due to vegetation and uneven terrain. The trail passes through two old fence posts and is lined with desert creosote and scattered cactus. On the south end, you’ll encounter sections of larger river rocks. There is nothing technical along this route. It is single-vehicle wide and suitable for high-clearance 2WD, with 4WD optional in dry conditions. The trail ends at a fence line leading toward a cemetery and adjacent private property. Respect all private property boundaries. Use caution in wet conditions, especially over rocky sections.
