Trail Overview

From the first parking lot on Four Peaks Rd heading south, Rolls leads you through whoops and sandy washes to a rocky road. You'll end up at the parking lot for Butcher Jones. Please note there is a closed gate at Butcher Jones, so you will not be able to exit this way. It's a slow road in a Jeep but in a SxS you could probably have a lot of fun on this trail. This trail is a bumpy one, but a fun, easy trail with pretty mountains all around you.

Difficulty

There are no big drops, and no need to get out and scout for a line. Typically, the trail is a two-track, but some spots are one vehicle wide.

The section going South on 1863 from Rolls OHV Traihead to the right turn on Rolls Road is a long sandy wash! Not hardest sand but very long and will take away your energy quickly. The remaining on Rolls Road is not bad, but I would rate this a 3/10 for motorycles.

First outing in my newly acquired 94 4Runner. Saw some guys ripping pre runner builds having a blast. Very fun trail, not very challenging, but not boring either. There were also a good amount of people looked like an atv tour or something. They were leaving as we were heading in around 6:30pm.

Great trail! Took my rear wheel drive runner on this trail and it did great up until the deep sand.
