Rock Tank Road

Trail Overview

Rock Tank Road is a narrow trail that winds through dense mesquite trees, with the potential for pinstriping, especially for larger vehicles. The route features several off-camber sections, and some washes can become challenging to cross during the rainy season. We had to rebuild the trail in one particularly tricky area to avoid a drainage ditch. Despite its winding nature, the road offers an enjoyable and scenic drive, culminating in a spacious campsite on the eastern end, making it a great spot to set up and take in the rugged surroundings.
