Trail Overview
Quarry Run is an interesting trail in a beautiful area. This area of the Kaibab National Forest is speckled with large rock quarries. It's not surprising to see trails lined with rock and scree or trailings from the larger, SUV-sized slabs of granite or sandstone from the quarries. At times there are many large vehicles present, so caution is urged. Wide and easy, this trail has no obstacles on it. There is also no cell service so offline maps are recommended. There are amounts of erosion and water damage cutting across this trail, so speed might not be your friend on this one. In the area are deer, antelope, and elk, so keep an eye out for local wildlife.
