Trail Overview

Puke Hill is one of only a couple of single tracks in the Green Gulch Trail System in Prescott, Arizona. From west to east, it starts off as a faint trail that is really rocky. It gets up on top of a spine, going mostly straight with light curves. Then it drops straight down 1,000 feet all the way to the intersection with Nemo Spring. The intersection from Nemo Spring for the single track is easy to miss if coming east to west. This trail is very difficult due to the steep climbs/descents made up of loose dirt and rock. It would be a bit easier going down instead of up because it's hard to find traction when going up. There isn't a singular notable obstacle; it's just rocky the whole time. It has nice views of the Prescott Valley while atop the ridgeline and goes through a high desert terrain full of prickly pear cactus.
