One of my favorite trails in Sedona. It wasnt very busy when I went this time. I run it clockwise and only go into 4lo a couple of times though it may not be needed. The trail is windy, I always go right. Stock height Tacoma TRD Offroad 265 70x17 wheels.

Great morning run. 1st half of the loop we only saw two groups of hunters walking, no other vehicles. Back half we saw about 5 rental razors/atvs. Very quiet for the most part.

Rocky, doable on a stock height Tacoma, but you will scrape. 4x4 recommend for some rock ledges and hills. Lots of sidebysides on the trail, with limited passing opportunities.

Trail had some mud and puddles from recent rain, but easy to drive through all of it. We ran Diamondback gulch first and then did this. Recommend running this trail counter clockwise because doing it this way you continuously get closer to the red rock face above the Honanki cliff dwelling ruins.

Part of this trail is a graded road (East side), the rest is not. The trail is frequently used by guided jeep tours and rental SxS and ATVs but in good shape. For my mid-size truck, used 4-low and kept to the 15 mph limit. Great views, not muddy today but evidence that mud can/does happen from time to time. Beware, due to rental use, mixed skill levels and courtesy flubs will happen...but this seems true for all of Sedona.

Trial had a few wet spots due to last week’s storm. But these are NOT the swallow-a-vehicle type of mud puddles. You won’t sink or get stuck. But please do slow WAY down and tiptoe through the wet spots to avoid rutting the trail. Tread Lightly!

Went clockwise, which had some decent technical parts, with rocky ledges of about 10-16” of drop/climb. Some parts necessitating 4L. But for the most part, aired down to 20psi on 35s, and in 4H, got along just fine. Lots of SxSs, but a few other Jeeps besides myself. Great views for sure!

Lots of huge mud puddles and amazing scenery lots of lizards and birds but not much other wildlife that we saw also has a few spots you need to take it slow and some spots you can give it a little throttle and get on it some

Great day on the tail. I did the trail clockwise and there was no real technical areas on the trail. However, there are a lot of pulloff spots to take on the view of the area. I didn't air down too low and kept it at 30 psi or so. Plenty of spots to pass. highly recommend this. Pretty sure a Subaru Forrester could do this drive.
